We continue with our mission to educate young people in Hong Kong about giving back by working with students from three different institutions.
CDNIS. Our educational outreach includes our ongoing case study group work with CDNIS Grade 5 students. From this experience, Grade 5 children put into practice research, creativity, teamwork, presentation skills and much more as they work together to build awareness about social causes. HKUST. We also continue to play a part in mentoring university students who are learning about using business for social good. In our recent session with students from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology – HKUST who are working with social venture partners to develop funding proposals, we shared our experience as a past social venture participant of the class. Thank you to Prof. Marie Rosencrantz and Nurturing Social Minds for inviting Twopresents to be a part of developing the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
HKU Social Venture Management Internship Course. We regularly invite students from the HKU Social Venture Management Course to join us as interns. These students work on many different projects aimed at spreading the word about our mission. This term our intern, Gabriela Wasilewska, created some amazing videos showing how Twopresents users have made a huge impact in our communities. In her time with us, she gained first-hand experience on what it takes to run a social venture with a small team. We hope our work with these students will inspire them to become more socially minded individuals who will help our community in the future. Thank you to Prof. David Bishop for including Twopresents in your internship program.
